The purpose is to present a single set of answers that could satisfy all the market participants seeking information on depositories.



The questionnaires that have served as a starting point are the Disclosure Framework for Securities Settlement Systems by CPSS/IOSCO, the Depository Questionnaire 2000 by Associations of Global Custodians and the ISSA 2000 recommendations. Furthermore, having received comments from the ACG, Rule 17f-7 has now been covered in the Disclosure Framework.

ECSDAs members have decided to use the ECSDA Disclosure Framework as a standard for providing information about the the CSDs’ services, governance and functionalities.
