VP offers solutions for the computerised issue of securities.
Both listed and unlisted securities and papers listed on other stock exchanges can derive benefits from book-entry in VP.
If you wish to issue a security via VP, you must enter into an agreement with VP via your bank or broker.
The following types of securities can be issued via VP:
Government bonds
Treasury certificates
Treasury bills
Mortgage bonds
Commercial bonds
Commercial paper
Convertible bonds
Covered bonds
Covered property bonds
Asset backed securities
Shares
Investment fund units
Bonus share rights
Subscription rights.
As of the issue of a new electronic security, VP will assign a securities code (i.e. an International Securities Identification Number - ISIN) to that security. You will provide VP with certain core information on the security. A series of book-entries will be executed during the life span of the security and these book-entries will form the basis for VP's services to you.
